What we do / don't do

One key for every model

The traditional setup means juggling Anthropic, OpenAI, Google and xAI accounts, API keys and billing dashboards — any one of them going down drags your whole product down. AICodeDog abstracts that layer away.

OpenAI-compatible + Anthropic-native

We implement both /v1/chat/completions and /v1/messages. Whichever camp your tool belongs to (Cursor uses OpenAI; Claude Code uses native Anthropic), one Base URL line is all it takes to integrate.

Tuned for AI coding tools

Out-of-the-box configs for 14+ mainstream tools — Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Cline, Continue, Aider — live at /integrate. Streaming, tool calls, 100k long context all verified end-to-end.

Failed requests are free

Upstream errors, timeouts, 5xx — none are billed. One detailed monthly statement, exportable as CSV, reconciles every single call.

OEM white-label hosted

We package all this under your own brand: custom domain, UI, pricing and sub-tenant management; certificates and ACME renewal fully automated. See /oem/signup.

Native-language docs and support

All public docs default to native-language first; tickets, Discord and email respond in your language; tuned for mainland / HK-TW / overseas Chinese-speaking developers.

Operating principles

Public bills, clear pricing

Every model's input/output unit price, discount ratio and counting method is public on /pricing. Failed requests cost zero, streaming and non-streaming priced equally, statements exportable as CSV.

Keep request logs minimal

We only retain billing-essential metadata: tokens, model, timestamp, error code. Request and response bodies are not retained (unless you explicitly enable debug logs visible only to yourself).

Refundable balance

Remaining balance is refundable any time (apply at /console/billing, T+3 business days back to original payment). We don't make money holding your prepayment.

Open-source and interoperable

We've contributed presets to community projects like cc-switch; model aliases are compatible with historical names (claude-3-5-sonnet-20241022 etc.). One key isn't locked to the AICodeDog brand — switch back to direct upstream in 30 seconds, any time.
